The Late, Great WAYNE DYER!
We have lost a great motivator and hero today to so many of my fellow speakers and coaches. I myself did not know Wayne Dyer but I do know he has influenced and impacted the lives of so many of my friends throughout his life. He had wonderful incite and I loved his amazing quotes. He taught us to be grateful with what we have. I have so much to be grateful for and more importantly, I have so many of you to be grateful for.
I never sought out to be a writer or motivational speaker. I was a racer from as far back as I can remember. That was what my dream was. I lived it, I did it! But God had a different plan for me and it has taken many of his angels to show me the way.
Tiffany Berg Coughran is one of my very best friends and one of those angels that I am so grateful for. You saw something in me far more than I ever saw in myself. I'm the writer and speaker today because of her. Her wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration have shaped me more than anything else in this world. Thank you pal, I love you.
M. Bridget Cook Burch, thank you for believing in me and my story. I know God placed you in my path to take me to the next level. You inspire me to be great and I’ve learned so much from you over the past couple of years. I appreciate you more than you will ever know! I’m grateful and blessed to have you in my life. I love you.
Tiffany Peterson, you’re one of my favorite people to follow. I love watching your vids on Periscope. You always have the best juicy little nuggets (as you girlies call them) that inspire me. I’m so grateful for you and your example. KatieJo my little drum Goddess, you inspired me to find my creative side again. You’re drums are the bomb and it’s because of you that I have found my artistic side again. Thank you for that and for being you!
One of the greatest speakers that I have ever known was the late Art Berg. One of my best friends and was one of the greatest blessings in my life. He came and met me in the hospital when I had my accident and showed me the way to living
in a chair. He then later recruited me to play for his wheelchair rugby team. He and I traveled the country together and I learned so much wisdom from him. He encouraged me to be a speaker long before I was or wanted to be. Whenever I didn’t think something was possible He always said, “The impossible just takes a little longer!” I’m grateful for the influence he had in my life.
I could go on and on about the great people in my life. There are so many of you that inspire me and that I look up to. You all are changing the world for the good. Even if it is one person at a time. I know Wayne Dyer inspired all of you my fellow speakers and authors, but it is you who have inspired me and for that, I am grateful! Thank you!
Below are just a few of my favorite Wayne Dyer quotes.
“Upon awakening, let the words Thank You flow from your lips, for this will remind you to begin your day with gratitude and compassion.” – Wayne Dyer
“Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.” – Wayne Dyer
“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” – Wayne Dyer
“You cannot be lonely if you like the person you’re alone with.” – Wayne Dyer
“Passion is a feeling that tells you: this is the right thing to do. Nothing can stand in my way. It doesn’t matter what anyone else says. This feeling is so good that it cannot be ignored. I’m going to follow my bliss and act upon this glorious sensation of joy.” – Wayne Dyer
“Here is an affirmation for today: I feel passionately about my life, and this passion fills me with excitement and energy!” – Wayne Dyer
